We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Concrete Dispatch Coordinator to oversee the scheduling, communication, and coordination of our concrete field operations. This role is vital in ensuring smooth daily operations, exceptional customer service, and alignment with our company’s Core Values.

Key Responsibilities- Dispatch Coordinator

Dispatch & Scheduling

  • Assign and schedule drivers efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
  • Communicate daily with aggregate dispatch to coordinate drivers and schedules.
  • Work directly with the shop/mechanics team with a focus on communication.
  • Monitor job progress, ensuring timely completion of scheduled work.
  • Adjust scheduling dynamically in response to emergencies, delays, or cancellations.
  • Ensure all team members have the necessary information, equipment, and resources before dispatching.

Lead, Manage and Hold Accountable

  • Address and document safety, performance, and other issues with drivers as needed.
  • Lead and conduct L10 meetings
  • Conduct one on one discussions with drivers
  • Assist with and oversee new driver training program
  • Assist with vehicle housekeeping inspections

Communication & Customer Service

  • Serve as the central point of contact between field personnel, customers, and management.
  • Provide real-time updates on scheduling changes and job statuses.
  • Handle customer inquiries professionally and ensure prompt issue resolution.
  • Communicate effectively with the shop team, the leadership team, customers and external partners as needed.
  • Ensure payment is secured prior to delivery.

Process Execution & Accountability

  • Follow and enforce dispatching procedures aligned with EOS principles.
  • Document all scheduling changes, job completions, and performance issues in Jonel and Miro.
  • Track and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as response times, job completion rates, and efficiency metrics.
  • Identify inefficiencies in dispatch processes and recommend improvements.

Technology & Documentation

  • Utilize dispatching software, GPS tracking, and other tools to manage workflow.
  • Maintain accurate records of job assignments, schedules, and customer communications.
  • Generate reports on dispatch performance and productivity.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Cover the aggregate dispatch order taking and dispatching one week per month.

Key Responsibilities- Safety Coordinator

Safety Compliance & Program Management

  • Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures in alignment with company and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other industry-specific regulations.
  • Conduct routine safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.

Training & Employee Engagement

  • Organize and facilitate safety training programs for all employees, including new hire orientations, refresher courses, and specialized safety certifications.
  • Lead quarterly safety meetings and monthly toolbox talks to ensure continuous awareness and education.
  • Act as a resource and mentor for employees on safety best practices.

Incident Management & Reporting

  • Investigate accidents, near misses, and safety concerns, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Maintain accurate safety records and report all incidents in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist HR with workers' compensation claims while working closely with HR.

Process Execution & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive proactive safety initiatives to reduce risks and improve workplace conditions.
  • Collaborate with department leads to integrate safety into daily operations and EOS meeting structures.
  • Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to safety performance, recommending process improvements as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Prefer a minimum 1 year in dispatching, logistics, or a related field.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with dispatching software, GPS tracking, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to handle scheduling conflicts and make quick decisions.
  • High Attention to Detail: Accuracy in scheduling, documentation, and reporting.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $75,000 per year
